Jacksonville 2001 - The Jacksonville Fire Museum was host to FABB's 1st meeting of 2001 with our new President Ron Czaplicki at the helm. The museum's La France steamer makes great backdrop.

Hosecart Discussion - A before the meeting discussion of a hosecart restoration.

Key West Meeting - Key West collage of a FABB trip to Key West. We had a great time.

Far South Fire Museum FABB member Glenn (Mr. Pyrene) Robinson gives a tour of the back room of the Far South Fire Museum. Unusual items like carbon tet Christmas ornaments to protect the family tree, a hand pump device that works like a bug sprayer for carbon tet firefighting. And click on the picture to see a variety of acid bottles from soda acid extinguishers of old. An educational experience.

Old Town in Kissimmee FABB member Glenn (Mr. Pyrene) Robinson gives a tour of the back room of the Our second meeting and FABB display at Old Town in Kissimmee.

Kissimmee Meeting The highlight of the day, a parade of classic cars and fire apparatus after dark through the streets of Old Town.

Panama City The Panama City weekend adventure starting at Panama Fire Apparatus for the meeting followed by a tour of Tyndall Air Force Base fire protection and a dinner cruise on the bay. Many thanks to Dan Brintlinger and the whole Panama Fire Apparatus family.

Children's Fire Museum in Largo A pleasant visit to the Children's Fire Museum in Largo, a nice tucked away collection of fire apparatus for a good cause. The main purpose which is to teach fire safety to the little ones while they are impressionable. But in this case the big ones had the run of the museum and had just as much fun. And then we went to a previously undisclosed location for a members only auction of fire memorabilia.
